A lot has happened since my last post. My wife keeps up her own blog for us at http://wheelpleadthefifth.blogspot.org so you can look there for some of the gaps.
I don't know where to begin, so I'll start with what I can think of at the moment. We just bought a house in TN, sold the land we had out here and gladly took a slight loss (it'll all wash out in the taxes).
The last year of life (not by the calendar, but pick a general point and start there) has been rough... Lost my mom in March and I'm still not over that. I haven't gotten over the loss of my birth parents, so no way to know how to get over losing a parent that I know.
I just lost a puppy that I was promised and will never be delivered thanks to someone thinking about themselves instead of our friendship.
There's a lot more to list, but I'm emotionally exhausted and ready to be settled in our house in RBS and enjoying my land instead of cursing the day I met someone that's supposed to be a friend.
I have just about the best wife a guy could ask for and she just keeps amazing me every single day. Life, love, and the pursuit of happiness--they don't tell you about the brambles and briars you have to go through on that pursuit, but I won't quit... it ain't in my nature.
To everyone that has helped, supported, and loved us along the way, a simple thank you is not enough. However, you should know that we thank you, we love you, we cherish your friendship, love, and what you bring to our lives.
That is all for now. Hopefully not so long before the next update... I have to go look for a new little buddy now.
