I'd really like some help and thoughts on what to do next for my latest love. She's a beauty already, but I'm making some changes that will compliment my riding style. The first, very essential part is the bars. I'm getting a lot of numbness in my hands and not really comfortable overall with the drop bars... not to mention I hit my knees on the ends a lot when I'm sprinting. I tend to stand on the pedals and stay off the saddle a lot more with the singlespeed. It's a beautiful ride overall, but I think it can always be better. I can pedal a turd if you can put cranks on it, but the more efficient my ride is, the more efficient I am... and that translates into more riding time and longer distances. I know... "These shoes are sooooo fast"... from when I was a kid, but with bikes it's true! The more efficiency you can achieve with your basic bike setup, the more power you transfer to your pedals. It's more art than science, but neither is perfect...
The world through my eyes; unfiltered and unedited. I still call it like I see it.
